I drew this while my kid was playing at the town pool with a bunch of friends today while thinking about how much nicer this town pool is than the one in the town I grew up in, which was basically an ashtray.

Our town pool is different: it's an all-day playdate for kids and parents. It's a small town, which is good in that you'll know at least 10% of the people there (that's also bad on days you want to be left alone, but then again, on those days, you probably shouldn't be hanging out at the town pool anyway). Even people who have their own pools join and come, just because it's so easy to see people you know without planning anything.

So I drew this in between splashing in the pool.
